Serving the local authority of Leeds City Council to provide planned and reactive electrical maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance to this community primary school.
In recent years we have completed a full electrical installation of the former caretaker’s house and new build extension to provide a modern teaching environment for the Special Educational Needs department.
The building dates back to 1876 and has needed substantial investment over the last few years to bring it up to date and ensure it meets its legal obligations. Working with the friendly team we have completed a full Electrical Installation Condition report which highlighted many defects including several dangerous and potential harmful issues, these have since been fully repaired and the school is now happy that this can be kept up to date with regular interim inspections.
The emergency lighting was not fit for purpose and didn’t meet the current guidelines, a full electrical design and installation was completed to meet CIBSE regulations and provide the school with compliance meaning this can be managed with regular inspections and maintenance.
We are scheduled to provide replacement of a number of the ageing distribution boards throughout the school and a full replacement of the existing lighting to new LED type fittings which compliments the ongoing reactive maintenance issues which naturally occur with-in a building of this age
